Among the many luxury cars at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, the Porsche 911 GT3 is undoubtedly one of the most dazzling stars. Although the new Porsche 911 GT3 had its world premiere in October last year, on the occasion of the model's 25th anniversary, this traffic star is still going strong. It is worth mentioning that the 911 GT3 Touring made its appearance together with the 911 GT3, and the GT3 Touring, which has been introduced to the Chinese market for the first time, has long made car fans' mouths water.
The more modern new 911 GT3
Since its launch in 1999, the 911 GT3 has always perfectly blended racing genes with everyday practicality. The new 911 GT3 models all adopt a sharper front and rear design and are equipped with matching aerodynamic characteristics. In both models, the front diffuser adopts a new contour, and the front lip shape and underbody fins have also been improved, all of which help reduce lift and optimize airflow.
The redesigned LED headlights with matrix beam integrate all of the 911's lighting functions, so auxiliary lights in the front apron are no longer needed. The new models can also be optionally equipped with white decorative rings. This not only provides more space in the air intake area, but also gives the exterior structure a more distinctive look. The rear diffuser, air intakes and rear lid have all been redesigned.
Porsche has adopted specially developed aerodynamic trailing arms with a teardrop contour on the double-wishbone front axle. At high speeds, they can increase downforce at the wheel arches and improve brake cooling. To ensure that the downforce between the front and rear axles remains balanced even under high-speed braking, chassis engineers have significantly reduced the vehicle's pitch motion (anti-dive/anti-squat design).
To this end, the front ball joint position of the lower trailing arm on the front axle of the new 911 GT3 is lower. The new car adopts these improvements from the current 911 GT3 RS model.GT3 Touring introduced to the Chinese market for the first time

With the model changes, Porsche has defined the derivatives of the 911 GT3 more clearly. The name "Touring Package" can be traced back to the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and has been part of the GT3 family since 2017.

In the new 911 GT3, it has become even more distinctive, as evidenced by the "911 GT3 touring" lettering on the rear lid grille.

The 911 GT3 Touring cancels the fixed rear wing and retains the 911's timeless, elegant lines. The retractable rear spoiler with a spoiler lip—the so-called Gurney flap—as well as the improved fin design on the underbody, ensure aerodynamic balance.

The interior uses high-quality leather upholstery, creating a classic, sporty atmosphere. The 911 GT3 Touring offers an optional rear seat system for the first time.

This means that this highly practical sports car can be configured more individually according to customer preferences, allowing for maximum driving pleasure on winding mountain roads.
This time, Porsche also brings a 911 retro model. The 911 Spirit 70 is the third of all four collectible models launched by Porsche under the Heritage Design product strategy. This limited-edition model built by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur will be offered in a total of 1,500 units, recreating the style of the 1970s and early 1980s.A unique color concept
Porsche's designers and paint experts developed a new color especially for this model: Olive Neo—a rich, dark green with a modern feel. Bronze Pyrite creates a striking contrast.

The rear apron, front end and Sport Classic wheels are all painted in a gold-gray tone. The gold lettering on both sides of the body and the Exclusive Manufaktur badge form a harmonious color contrast, while embodying both brand tradition and modern spirit.

The black roof and black (satin) windshield frame highlight the unique appearance of the 911 limited-edition model. The front lid features three black (satin) decorative stripes, echoing the same-color decorative stripes on the black roof.

The hood grille bears the Porsche Heritage badge, whose design is similar to the badge awarded to the Porsche 356 in the 1950s when it reached 100,000 kilometers of mileage. Other unique details include gold-plated PORSCHE lettering and rear model designation.
The graphic with the PORSCHE lettering on the side of the body, as well as the black (satin) circular area with an individualized start number, reflect the brand's motorsport heritage. The Pasha pattern is reborn
A major highlight of the interior is the classic Pasha pattern, whose fabric design is reminiscent of a waving checkered flag. This pattern decorates the center panels of the 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the door mirrors and the inside of the glove compartment. This sports car also offers luxurious Basalt Black club leather interior components with Olive Neo decorative stitching, as well as monochrome Basalt Black club leather interior components. Heritage Design models place great emphasis on details, and the digital display concept has also been carefully designed to blend harmoniously with the overall appearance of the limited-edition model.

The instrument cluster combines classic design and advanced technology. The 12.65-inch high-resolution display features analog-style white pointers and scale markings. The green digits are reminiscent of the Porsche 356—Porsche's first mass-produced sports car. The model logo is elegantly integrated with the fully digital tachometer. The white pointers and green digits also reflect the distinctive design of the Sport Chrono timer.

The dashboard trim panel bears a gold-plated badge with the "911" logo, the model designation and the individualized limited-edition number. The crest on the steering wheel, headrest embossing and leather key pouch is almost identical to the 1963 version of the Porsche crest. The storage compartment lid and the standard leather document wallet in the car feature the embossed "Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur" logo.

The moment the door opens, the door projection light projects the "Icons of Cool" logo (with an animated effect for the first time) directly onto the ground. The illuminated door sill guards in black anodized aluminum feature the "911 Spirit 70" lettering. Another harmonious detail is the Heritage Design floor mats with decorative stitching and Basalt Black leather trim.
