On October 2, Zeekr officially announced the launch of new colors for the refreshed Zeekr 007GT, with a new exterior color "Valley Green" and a new interior color "Ink Green." According to official information, Valley Green is inspired by the waterside greenery of the Ili River Valley, while Ink Green is drawn from the deep green of snow-ridge spruce.
The refreshed Zeekr 007GT measures 4858×1900×1460 (1445) mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2925 mm, and comes standard with 19-inch wheels. The trunk capacity is 645L, expandable to 1737L with the rear seats folded down, plus a 20L front trunk.
Inside, the car features a three-spoke sport leather steering wheel and piano-key-style physical center console buttons, a 1.73-square-meter panoramic sunroof with 10-level brightness adjustment, and front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The vehicle is equipped with NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chip with 700TOPS of computing power, and comes standard across all trims with LiDAR, CCD electromagnetic damping system, and intelligent magic carpet function.
Powertrain options include single-motor and dual-motor versions, with the single-motor version producing a maximum power of 370kW and the dual-motor version delivering a combined system power of 585kW, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in as fast as 2.85 seconds. The vehicle is built on a 900V high-voltage architecture and offers a 75° Golden Brick battery and a 103° Kirin battery, with fast charging from 10% to 80% taking approximately 10 minutes for the Kirin battery and approximately 10.5 minutes for the Golden Brick battery.
Xiao Tang's View: Color is a relatively low-cost way to update a model. The refreshed Zeekr 007GT's new color offerings this time come with no changes to powertrain, chassis, or intelligent driving configurations, yet they can give the model another round of exposure during the stage when potential buyers are comparing configurations. However, color changes cannot alter the product's position in the market. The insurance subsidy and free color-change film in the October limited-time benefits are more direct contributing factors, and the new colors mainly serve to provide a reason to re-enter the comparison list.
